I just had by T68m upgraded to a T68i and found that Telstra doesn't support the upgrade. They say that the T68 works (which it did) and the T68i (retail) works, but not the T68 which has been upgraded.

I find that GRPS doesn't work now, and neither does MMS. Telstra tell me that their working on it, but they have no ETA on the fix.

So beware Aussies, if your with Telstra (don't know about Vodefone or Optus) GRPS and MMS wont work straight away on your T68i if you have it upgraded.

Just to add, I do recommend that you upgrade the phone if you have one. It gives you some great extra features.

I brought along my T68m(upgraded to T68i) to Sydney in June, it worked well with Testra under roaming.
I had no chance to test GPRS and MMS there.
Just to let you know I have no problems using GPRS in my country

There was a small issue with the way some service
centres were applying the upgrade that was causing the
GRPS to be lost/scrambled when the phone was powered off.
Maybe this was it?

after upgrading, all your GPRS AND MMS settings get wiped out so you just have to re enter them and be able to use them again
