Roberto : Those Sonyericsson models were prototypes, not production-models.

If they were to be production-models, they would be triband-phones, and be sold worldwide,..just as other phones.

Those specific models were on show in Las Vegas at the Comdex.

I would assume, that we will see something like this from on the Cebit show in March.

The model we could expect to see on Cebit, would be the metallic-prototype (sliding button-panel),..and maybe in a production-version.
At least thats what I hope

Hmm the 7650 does look quite big, but remember the keypad slides out - it's a lot less tall when it's open. Still quite keen on it, but I think it'll be too expensive.

So what we're looking for is a phone, radio, 20Gb MP3 player, PDA, and 4 megapixel digital camera in one unit the size of the T68. I'm sure Jan could come up with something

Hi Jan!
Thanks for the info. but I still hope this particular model would become reality. When my friend saw this photo, he likes it as well, it looks very cute and different from other phones, because of course it's T68 brother.

I don't reckon that the 7650 will be that big of a success, itws too big and if priced too high not many people will want to buy it, the 7110 was only successful due to the Matrix movie.

Hmm, not so sure about that... it was the first phone to have wap, it was one of the best phones available at the time (if not the best) and it wasn't even in the Matrix! The one in that was a modified banana phone, probably with a rubber band on the back!

ADAM : thanks hehe

Maybe I could come up with something,..but they (the phone-makers) wont let me !

Allthough I would love to give it a try. Got a lot of ideas

BTW:The Matrix phone was the 8110 in a modified version.

Roberto : your welcome

I really do believe we'll see something like this, or maybe even the same model, on the Cebit show.

I mean, the T-68 was "more or less" a prototype when it was shown on Cebit last year,..but the production-model looks exactly the same as the prototype did.

And, I guess, that when Nokia introduced the 7650, SonyEricsson would be thinking about it too
I hope, hehe.
