Airtel Mobile Office(full GPRS) settings 4 WM5.0
Wel frnds, i found out dat i cant use the Airtel Live method of enterin the settins 4 Airtel's Mobile Office. Do it as below...
Start>Settings>Connections>GPRS ;
Add a new profile with Description 'MO'
Enter the followin in its correspondin fields.
Connects to» WAP Network
Access Point» airtelgprs.com
Leave the rest of the fields blank and clik Done to save the profile.
Select Proxy from Connections menu and Add a profile with Description 'MO'
Enter the followin in its correspondin fields.
Connects from» WAP Network
Connects to» The Internet
Proxy(name:port)» 202.056.231.117:8080
Type» HTTP
[U can also enter 9201 as port no. with WAP as Type of connection. Its better 2 use 8080, especially 4 streamin purposes]
Now leav all other fields blank and sav the settins.
Return 2 the Connections menu, and clik the right Menu key and select Advanced.
Now clik the right Menu key and select Options, and change the correspondin fields as follows.
Redial attempt» None
Idle disconnect» None
My desktop» The Internet
Clik Done and in the Advanced menu select the WAP Connection field and select MO frm it. Now clik Done and exit 2 Start menu.
Now open IE, select Options and go 2 Connections. Untick the Auto Detect field and select WAP Network frm the Select Network field. Now try to connect to the net!
Note: these settins worked 4 me in Kerala and is not necessary to work in other Indian states...

No man.... not yet.... but i think it'd come out soon!
Shal update u on it then.... I think, til now the WM5 updation 4 smartfons is available only 4 MPx200.
