I wouldn.t get too concerned. The LED will probably last longer than you will own the phone for, obviously depending how long/often you use this app. Just dont do it for too long too often

It's made by staffanp from this forum. You should set all it's access requests do denied. What is does is that it uses the auto focus and therefore the led turns on.

Red LED! I hope none of us need to defuse a bomb!

(for people who remember the end of The Abyss).

red is good for night vision as you wont need to let ur eyes settle after u turn the light off unlike white light

If a LED receives right power (as in an engineered device like this) it will last "forever". LED has an huge life span and it won´t be for some minutes of usage now and then that you will kill him.

Can anyone make a QVGA video java app?

Made a small midlet that makes the whole screen go white and then keeps it illuminated... for defusing that bomb I'd hold on to Torch though

Also changed the "Avsluta"

Guys,

It is a simple LED. It will not harm your phone or cause global warming, or cause Tsunami's. It will just turn on, red, and show a spot of light. How many plan to let their light run all day long with the risk of it over heating.
