maybe not yet but i'm sure as more and more ericsson owners or robbers try to ask them to crack it, they would be interested investing in the tools to do the magic. I just hope I'm wrong

It is possible to change the IMEI number with only a "simple" data
cable and a program which I don't remember right now, but it only works for Nokia And Samsung's!!! I'll tell you the program as soon as I find it...

I think phone makers should start relying on chips that contain some kind of permanent address. Just like what Lan cards have.
