> P800 in Singapore
Bookmark topic
Guys, I'm heading home (Sweden) for Christmas and since they're launching the P800 in Sweden before Christmas, I thought I buy one and bring it back to Singapore afterwards.
If so, what do I need to do in order to make it work here on Singtel's network?
I've got a SIM card featuring WAP services, but for the P800 I will need GPRS, email and MMS.
Can I use my existing SIM card and request Singtel to upgrade in order that I can use the full services expected of the P800?
Or is it better to wait another month until it's launched here?
Would I need to seek TAS clearance before I can get it to work here?
Sorry, many questions but it will help in my decision making....appreciate your help.

I think you can just ask them to send you sim updates, which will update your sim.

i think the best people to ask is the service centre themselves. u are doing them a favour by testing for them their network, i would think. i hear from some other forum that the uncle at jurong point is very obliging. doesn't hurt to give them a call and ask.
