Every time I speak, smile, etc. My lips go craaack! I have tried applying petroleum jelly, chapstick and drinking lots of water but my lips remain dry.

I had the same problem before. The problem for me was vitamin deficiency. After I started taking a multivitamin tablet, my lips healed up after a few days.
