Some members use to do this and it is appreciated, but others just leave a reply saying the item is sold. This last thing makes difficult to know if the item whether got sold or not.

bump. I'm still seeing the same old questions being asked over and over, including to top 10 traders who are selling phones.

It would be nice if these top 10 traders could set an example by following some or all of these guidelines

Sorry for the dumb question. Where would I find the list of previous traders? Thanks!

Hi guys,

Wonder if you can help me on this - i'm a long time viewer of the site love it and i've seen some crazy bargains available on here but (and i know it sounds stupid but we're all allowed stupid moments so forgive this one...) firstly, what does bumping a post mean and secondly, (this ones more important), i know it takes 30 days of being registered to make a sale or trade thread, but in those 30 days how can you show you're a trusted seller and does esato have a feedback style rating thing??

Hi and welcome

I think you mean 'bumping a thread'. Well, when a thread gets bumped the thread's starter wants to call the attention of the others members. In other words, they're like reminders.

Regarding the trusted traders, you can give a look at the Esato Market: A-Z of Trusted Traders: http://www.esato.com/board/viewtopic.php?topic=82664

Hope it helps

Hii,

thanks so far!!

I was also wondering why I couldn't create a new topic as I've got a couple of things I'm looking to trade or sell.

Can anyone help why it won't let me create a new topic?? It says something about only being registered for 6 days or so.

Thanks in advance

our rules are that you must be a member for a month, and you must have at least 25 useful posts (i.e. not garbage/non mobile etc)

the point is that we don't want people just popping in here to take advantage of our large membership base. We want people to be real members before they participate in trades.

This restriction also helps potential buyers to build confidence of new sellers
