I've been finding my way around my X1 for 24 hours now and I absolutely love it. Just one problem so far... I can't seem to receive anything by bluetooth. I have tried sending files from three different phones but it fails every time. Sending files from the X1 to another phone worked fine, but I can't receive anything. Any ideas anyone?

Goto start->settings/connections/bluetooth. Then click on "Mode" tab, select "Make this device visable to other devices".

Once the device has been paired, you can uncheck the box, if you like.

Chris.

Already did that before I tried, but no joy. Any other ideas?

TouchFlow 3D Review update for those interested:
==================================

The Good:
- excellent look and feel
- increased font size and buttons (one for you Marc )
- full customisable options and settings
- weather panel that links to a website to give you information on the sky
above in your area, for the next 5 days. It also can retain information for
upto 6 other cities around the world
- excellent music player with clean interface (better than WMA player & SE
own) Album art is also displayed. "Audio Boost" for those who wish to add
Bass and dilute perfectly well recorded music
- excellent "people" panel, where you can put your favourite contacts, so
you can easily phone/text/email them. It can also show an enlarged
picture of your favourite contact
- fast panel response for message/emails

The Bad:
- slow to install
- bit slow to load panels with lots of information, like the Music panel.
However this improves when cached, and album art retrieved (so be
patience )

Others have reported X1 crashing, but that has not happened to me. I think that'll be more to do with memory management - basically too many apps installed or running at the same time. To preserve battery and memory I always close down running apps that I'm not using. Why wouldn't you?

Any questions about it, feel free to ask, and I'll do my best to answer.

Regards,
Chris

Hmmm, never had any problems with it, switch if off and back on again, don't try to connect to anything for about a minute (I've noticed Bluetooth takes time, active on phone sometimes). Then try re-pairing devices, from the X1 to the other device. I use passkey security.

How did you get tha TouchFlow 3D?

Does that X1 only have one speaker or 2 speakers?

Touchflow:

Download .cab file to your X1 and click on it, it will self-install. N.B. Do it when you have some downtime (takes 30-40 mins to install!) so don't interrupt it, to prevent problems.

It has one speaker phone, which is standard.

Here are some questions for X1 owners: when playing music with the X1, can you go to another panel or any other part of the phone and continue listening? Can you use hardware keys to control the player? How do you go about changing music, and locking the phone if its in your pocket?

Also, is it true that everyone can hear a call when the call speaker is on?

What about regular Java based software (games and apps) that A1 and A2 can run? Can the X1 run those (allbeit in a smaller area of the screen)?

After about 24 hrs using the phone, I'm getting used to windows mobile OS (this is my first winmo device). I'm happy that the phone is fast because this is the main reason I hate P990.

Since using P800, I'm used to handwriting recognition using stylus.... and quite scared if the handwriting recognition of X1 is not as good as the P series.... Luckily, after trying several handwriting options in the Xperia, I found out that `letter recognizer' format is most similar to P series handwriting recognition where you have three separate area for capital letters, numbers and small letters... and it works nicely. Well done !

Hopefully some of you have been using WM devices for a long time, so here's a quick question. On X1, you can use your finger to scroll through menus and lists in the WM interface. For how long has that been possible with WM?
