From after the 1st Feb 2008 Vodafone have been unlocking Contract Customers handsets free of charge (Explains why they unlocked mine)

The Free Unlocking doesn't apply to Pay As You Go customers only Pay Monthly just so you know!

Sounds like pants to me, as the system in store still tells me to charge £19.99 per code.

Also 90% of vodafone handsets are locked

Super, It may take awhile before all Vodafone employees are aware of it, if u dig deeper into the eforum it mentions that. Nice to know all handsets will come unlocked from them btw

There new eForum is really helpful,
they don't offer existing customers cheap Mobile broadband yet however they've even advised me to contact them and they'd fix me a deal

I think the Voda shops will be notified of the unlocking though soon seems there making quite a few changes

Im hoping they will increase there 120MB data to something higher next
