The only bluetooth device I have seen with a range more than 10 is a dongle. (that had 100m)

A microwave oven is around 2000 watts while in BT it's in a fraction of a 1/10th of a watt. I wouldn't worry about it.

bluetooth has 3 power classes.
class 1 is of 20dBm & has 100m range,
class 2 is of 4dBm & has 10m range,
class 3 is of 0dBm & has 10cm range.
for mobile class 2 is used...
