I think it prefers WiFi over gprs when WiFi is enabled. dunno why, but fring sometimes hangs when I use it on WLAN.

well under my situation fring wont connect under gprs, juz da same as google maps...
both works perfectly under WIFI but wont connect at all under GPRS

You should check if you are able to use gprs at all.
If not, check the settings (apn, username & pw (if any), etc.) and make sure that you have added it in your internet group account.

ya i checked...my GPRS is added it in my internet group account. n im sure im able to use GPRS cuz im using it rite now...(on da bus...lol)
