Anyone can help me?
I get a hbh 15 for my t68 fw r2a.
When i set t68 bluetooth "automatic" my hbh 15 is unable to get some incoming call.
no problem with outgoing calls. No problem when i set bluetooth "on", but i have a shorter standby time. So bluetooth automatic = 3 days battery life
Bluetooth just two days.
Any suggestion? Upgrade firmware on t68 (r2B)?

Thanx

Hi, I use the HBH-10,..pretty much the same.

Try this if you dont already use it :

In the menu:
Settings > handsfree > answering-mode > have to be on "Automatic" too.

(in the T-39 it has to be on Normal)

Wait for the phone to transfer the sound/ringing to the headset, and then push button on headset.

It works fine for me

Why do I have to set Bluetooth operatin mode everytime. I mean when I change profile of the phone I cannot assign different bluetooth operation modes to different profiles. for example, when I'm at home I don't want to use my headset and I have my 'home' profile selected with bluetooth operation mode selected to 'off' then when i'm in the car I change to my 'In Car' profile.. however the bluetooth operation mode remains to 'off' and I have to additional change this to 'on' to be able to use my headset. Why can't this be assigned to the different profiles? or are there other ways?

well the only way it would work with me is to set the phone on "on"!

i have created a shortcut for the bluetooth menue to make things easier.

From what I have now heard from others as well,..it seems that with the HBH-15, the bluetooth-mode needs to be "ON".

I can recieve calls and make calls, when my bluetooth-mode is on "automatic",..and using the HBH-10.
Of course when recieving calls, I will wait untill the phone transfers the ringing-tone to the HBH-10,..then push the button on the headset.
If I want to make a call,..I use the phone, go into contacts, find contact, and push "YES" on phone,..this transfers the call to headset.

Cant really figure out why mode cannot be on "automatic" with the HBH-15.
What would you then use the "automatic-mode" for ???? Certaintly not for headset then !

Jan,

What you described is how I use my HBH-15. I'm on automatic mode as well. It works for me. The only time I'm in "On" mode is when I'm driving long trips.

gggizmo,

By the way, there is an upgrade newer than R2G (for HBH-15), but I was not able to upgrade because the center I was in cannot connect to the SonyEricsson server at that time.

Ok Arnold

So your HBH-15 works the same way as my HBH-10.

Hmmm,..could it have something to do with the phone itself ? E.g. the sofware-version in the phone ?

The only other possibility, is that the phone and headset, have not been "paired" correctly.

There're only two menues in the phone, which works the headset itself :

Settings > handsfree > answering-mode.

Connection > bluetooth > modes.

I have both on "AUTOMATIC",..and it works.

Hmm, a bit confusing, this one ???
