Please post compatible and non compatible bluetooth Handsfree equipment here.

I would really love to buy the X1 , but I am not sure that it will work with my bluetooth handsfree kit that I have in the car (that has Sim Access Profile ability)

Audi A4 2.0TDI Quattro 2007, with Audi integrated bluetooth telephone kit.

Though I'm not sure how well it works, only tested it for a few minutes, it does sync the contacts to the car without problems.

Which car has Sim Access Profile ?
Expensive BMW ?

As I understand it, SIP means that the car (?) can use the SIM card in the phone with the cars radio unit (without removing SIM from phone).

My car syncs the phones address book to the cars memory (up to 4 phones can be remembered). Not using SIP.

Well.. It's actually a Nokia 610 HF kit, but it works so good with my HTC Tytn 2 and I am not interested in downgrading(buying a new bluetooth system without sim access). By using SAP it actually increases the battery lifetime of the phone since it takes over the radio. I usally just keep my phone in the jacket when I enter the car.

This solution works perfect therefor I need to test it and see if the X1 can do this (would be a shame if it can't when Tytn 2 can...)

Hi tai020381. Can you try playing music from the Windows Media Player under programs on the X1. With my Nokia BH-604 i have the same problem under SE's media player and even on the addin Touchflo panel. But when I use Windows media player direct it works great.

I have been in contact with Sony Ericsson X1 support and... well... "it's nothing wrong with our phone...."

But if it's the same trouble with Sony's headset it's a bigger issue then just my Nokia headset.

Hi. I tried my bluetooth headset with Windws Media Player. It really works better than the SE media panel. Now I can pause, play, skip forward and backwards, Change volume. But its A2dp seems not very good. Music tends to skip (due to bad connection), reception is worse than my k850i. But windows media player cannot create a good playlist... Which tends to play everything....
