I've been looking for Z780i for ages.
Many months ago Sonyericsson websiteS indicate the phone has been released.
Do you know where on earth/Internet it's available?

The North American version has been available for a LONG time on T-Mob as the TM506.

I just checked some sonyericsson counry websites & it seems only one colour is available: Grand Onyx.
The one with purple isn't proposed anymore....
