Thanx for reply! I can browse http:live.vodacom.com totally free. I am using it as my opera mini server with ''80.232.117.41'' as the ip adress. I still get charged. What can be wrong?

@sitnet, the ip: 80.232.117.41 is for this site: live.vodacom.com ?

If yes,.. You can't use it in opera mini server like you say..

Firstly, test in your default browser those links, and see wich one will work for free with you:
http://live.vodacom.com@www.google.fr/

http://live.vodacom.com:@www.google.fr/

Thanx for reply!!

I tried both and only the first one without the colon ( ":" ) worked. When I tried the second one my phone said : "Adress not valid. Please retype, and try again."

Ok, good..
So, you can now, use those configurations:
After yu install opera mini mod 2.06, go to>Menu>Tools>Setting>Network, and fallow thos steps:
1)Put a check on 'Shadow connect'
2)enter your homepage on 'the address to connect'
3)put a check on 'check time-out for connections'
And enter 120 on 'Times'
4)leave 'Additional' uncheckdd
5)leave 'Server', 'Port', 'Username', 'Password' blank
6)enter in opera mini server:
live.vodacom.com@server.operamini.com:80
7)leave 'Reset of a server at an error'

hello! I did exactly as you said but all that happens now is the bar saying proccesing comes up at the bottom of the screen and after about 3 seconds it dissapears without any error message. I read somewhere what to do when that happens but I can't find that post, do you know what might be wrong?

THANX VERY MUCH FOR YOUR HELP SO FAR!

No, I have a vkp patch installed to remove java permissions so it can't be that.

But dennevhyn_31 has posted me another server address to try so i'll try it and see if it works.
