The covers will initially only be available in Lunar Grey and will comprise of both the front and rear casing as a set. Cost should be in the region of US$45-50. Shipping will be offered worldwide.

Please let me know if you are interested in this product as it will only be offered if there is deemed to be sufficient demand.

I'll post further information as and when I receive it, until then I can be contacted either through this forum or via my email address which is:

I look forward to hearing from you all.

Yeah, I hear ya, I've gotten onto my supplier about different colours and they are letting me know - however the Grey is still useful for people who:

a) have the Gold phone and want a change.

b) want to spray their phone but have a back-up cover just in case.

c) have damaged the screen or case in any way (not covered by guarantee etc)

d) have marks on the back cover and want a replacement.

I will definitely post any information regarding other colours as soon as I myself receive it - Please feel free to ask further questions and even make product requests if you choose (somebody has already mentioned that replacement keypads would be desirable, so I'm seeing what I can do).

I'd buy one. If not only to have a spare should the original become damaged. Like the idea of maybe getting one with an improved keypad too...

At least here in my country (Greece) spare covers (original) are available to all service centers. The cover costs around 41 and they place it also on the phone...

Oh... so you can't change it yourself?

But when you let a service center change cover, they'll keep the old one.

And if we change covers ourselves, we loose the gurantee.

How is this supposed to work?

Is there an easy way of taking of the cover? Cause I can't figure out how to do it whithout leaving a couple of scratches here and there..

First of all, if you ask the old one, they should give it to you at once. I did it...
It is not necessary to do any scratches in order to open it! Its easy. I have posted again in a realted discussion here in Esato. Search to find it. But if you are unfamiliar with such things, just let the do it for you.

P.S.
If you open it carefully there is no way for the service to find out that the phone was opened. There is no seal or something to prove this. So the warranty is not broken.
