I love this phone! And this from a Blackberry person! I used it today to track my wife from Heathrow to the USA - infact she has just landed at Philadelphia airport. I told her the gate to go to in the airport, how late this plane was, have tracked her across the pond - 435mph and 40,000 feet and all from the comfort of my car on the M3 and then from home.
I was a bit sceptical initially but now can't get enough of it. I even used the new Co-Pilot on the phone to get me to the airport. And this was only £19.99!
Ther's an App for everything!!!!

Ahhh... It's a nice feeling to be back on the 3GS wagon again. Bought a 32 GB model a few days ago but had it replaced today as the display had a yellow tint in the lower half and the camera was taking pictures with a faint pink blob in the center. Maybe a way for the Foxconn employees to get back at their company for the horrible working conditions - by letting a few phones that failed quality control slip through.

Was thinking of waiting for the new 'HD' but figured it would be a long wait as it wouldn't be available here in Oman before August and the price would be more than the missus would allow me to spend... So I will keep the 3GS until this time next year when the price on the HD will have dropped.

@dominic157: Try to reinstall the firmware. First delete the first firmware from your pc then download again and reinstall. hope that will help but you should know there is another update version out 4.0.1. Through the process download again the firmware; iTunes may be download the 4.0.1 instant of 4.0.

Hi. Im about to buy a new phone. My choice is either an HTC Desire, or a secondhand 3GS(same price) Should the fact that I use a Mac at home influence my choice?
