@coolharsh55: Great looking skins
@Boysie99/bisshoy007: You are extremely helpful!! Very rare indeed!
SAMM 2.7d had given me sleepless nights until I read the posts and went back to the 2.7a in the starter pack. You can never trust the 'latest' it seems. However it looks like java items do not work when added to skin through the skineditor
(Can someone point me to a tutorial for editing the skins manually to add a working java item - I want to replace the "Play Now" with Opera)
I get a lot of wsod though (not necessarily because of the SAMM), hense some queries:
1. Can k790 R8BF003 use k800 R8BF003 patches?
2. In the latest Dyn_const for k790, the second event "STANDBY_NOT_IDLE_EVENT "
(referring to
bisshoy007's related post) is not present. (as checked by dyneditor and a lot of russian tranlation). Is it a big issue?
3. Currently, I have the following patches, can someone with the k790/R8BF003,
*please* guide me if I should have flashed something different (have attached the zip
here):
a.
Latest dyn_const and lib from
den_po's page + k790_r8bf003.ico.vkp
b.

;SWI_Hook (c) Rst7/CBSIE
;ElfLoader (c)2007 by Rst7/CBSIE, BoBa, Kren

;K790_R8BF003
;
;ELFPack v1.0 (c) Hussein
;SWI_Hook (c) Rst7/CBSIE

;v. 2fix
d.
k790 additional shotcuts.vkp
;K790 SW-R8BF003

Other patches which 'should' not impact this issue:

1. No you can't.
2. Add 0x84D to position 0x0000011E with Dyneditor.

@boysie99
Haven't figured out adding item to the list yet.
However:
a. 0x84D is 2125 decimal, and all indexes till now in the list (up to sl. no. 463, 1852 (0x73C)) are multiples of 4 (463*4=1852) so 2125 looks a bit different.
b. The dyn_const for k800 on den_po's page also has 463 constants only. Have you compiled your dyn_const by yourself? There must be a ton of constants between 1852 and 2125 that we are missing.
(still getting wsod - should I flash my k790 with k800 firmware? the network bands between k800 and k790 are different so am not sure whether that is safe)
Cheers!

Yes I have compiled my own dyn and no, you cannot flash to k800, only k818 which is pointless.
