Guys this thread is just a part of kuya aquared's thread & this is just an example instructions on how to surf for free exlusive for SMART network & for those who use opera mini multi editable server (all version) due to smart free site problem.

If you nid network settings (how to activate GPRS), opera mini servers, download link of opera mini (almost all kinds of versions) i suggest to go to this topic click this aquared29clickme this thread is open for all networks.


ok lets start..

nowadays we'r experiencing some difficulties in connecting,using,surfing opera mini or built-in browsing due to smart free sites problem updating their servers, that almost all free sites are dead (murdered by smart) thats why we cant do surfing with the use of the trick that we usually used.

well Here's a good news

we can still surf for free with the use of dead free site (whoa!)

how!!?!!

with the use of webproxy to revive the dead free site, i called this trick The PhoenixTrick

and here's how to use it in your mobile phone

For nokia S60s just edit ur internet profile example SmartInternet,SmartGPRS,SmartMMS,if cant edit... creat 1 & copy the settings of the internet profile example SmartInternet.
enable the use of proxy then put the ip (listed above or below) at port 80 just choose any,& follow the format of the custom server for OM (listed above & below)

go to ur web browser then press option then go to access points u will see the internet profile example smartinternet edit it then option advance option u will see server and 2nd server i think thats a DNS server (but im not sure) scroll down u will see proxy server address click that & enter the IP (details below) FYI: proxy server address is the same as IP address then proxy port just put 80 then run opera mini 4.2 put the new custom server (depends on what kind of proxy) after then press ok then go browse some phones will prompt you on what kind of internet profile will u use just use the one that u edited ok dont forget Tested on Nokia N70 Last Friday 07/31/09 100% working!

For Other brands just put the IP & port to ur access point under proxy or just enable proxy in ur access point then put it.

You can also do this for built-in browser the same as what kind of custom server u put in OM but dont include the OM server just put url after the /http/ (details below)

More examples of proxies that we can use to revive a dead free site. (details below)

note* CGI proxies had an unstable connection..

You can use opera mini server trick

IP: global-4-lvs-seele.opera-mini.net or 80.239.242.253 port: 80
OM SERVER just put any freesite example http://dload.uzzap.com thats it
for Smart network only but try in globe if working

OM SERVER just put any freesite example http://m.smart.com.ph/surf thats it
for Smart network only but try in globe if working

IP: 80.239.242.35 port: 80
OM SERVER just put any freesite example http://ph.m.yahoo.com thats it
for Smart network only but try in globe if working

IP: 80.239.242.97 port: 80
OM SERVER just put any freesite example http://wapx.amob.com thats it

some model cant use alphabet proxy

Q: how to get numeric IP?
A: just ping the localhost name

For Downloading just add the download link after the /http/

how to use it?

same as the above after you put the address in the proxy server address.

then go to ur built-in browser & go to ur homepage of ur network or just visit a free site.. (type the example above)

then the php proxy will appear enter ur desired web address in the URL box & go

for downloading just put the downloadlink in the URL box of the php proxy


OK lets move to S40phones

u can use the tricks (listed above) for built-in only, bcoz in s40 phones.. only the under web settings can use proxy. you can edit IP & PORT under WEB settings.. nokia disallow the S40 phone to use proxy in access point so u cant put IP & port under access point (details below)

go to settings --> configuration --> choose Personal Config. sett. --> press option --> add new --> choose WEB icon is like a globe --> edit it then choose use preferd access point click it --> choose no --> then application settings will be clickable --> click it then u will see Proxy --> under proxy choose enable --> to words will come out -->Proxy Server Address & Proxy Port choose Proxy server Address --> then put the Listed IP above & just put 80 in the Port then activate go to ur browser then follow the format of the urls (details above)

But theres a way if u want to use it for OM (note* not all s40phones can use this trick (details below))

use PROV file.. i made some prov files for us so that we can still use OM despite of free site problem.

For Smart prov file

note* each prov file has a corresponding custom server for opera mini (listed above)

Download it by using a PC or Mobile phone then extract it, then after u will see the file myproxy.prov, concealme.prov, warrenb.prov
just choose any,then all u nid to do next is to transfer that file over the air (OTA) by using BlueTooth or Infrared ONLY to ur mobile phone.

Instructions

1st option if ur PC have bluetooth or infrared u can transfer it direct.

2nd option copy then paste the file on ur other mobile phone that can bluetooth or infra the prov file to your phone,or u can borrow a mobile phone from ur friend just to transfer the file.

if u transfered it by copying & pasted it on ur phone's memory card that prov will do nothing unless u transfer it by use of bluetooth or infrared.

either PC Loptop Or Mobile phone you used in transferring its just same results

(note* u can use this trick either om 4.2 or om 3.xx & om 2.xx) just follow the format (depends on what type of proxy)

For those S40 that cant use edited PROV (compatibility issue) & for some s60s O7 the having a problem on using the new tricks as same as S40s (compatibility issue)

I almost discovered the problem (weeeee!!!! )

my 1st opinion is to upgrade the phones firmware s40 & s60, well I dont have enough evidence that this will work but
I noticed someting about Updated firmware & old firmware versions.

How to watch videos in Youtube in your mobile phones?

Instructions:

1st: go to www.youtube.com

2nd: search a video that you want to watch

3rd: click the video that you'd like to watch

4th: of course you cant watch it yet becoz the website will tell you to download the latest adobe flash player just ignore it

5th: Copy the url example www.youtube.com/watch?v=TYrBG6rNLZU

6th: Now go to www.keep-tube.com i suggest to bookmark it

7th: Paste the url of the youtube (from 5th) to the url box that you will see in keep tube then click download

8th: then after several minutes the website keep tube will produce 4 diff types of video files just select the type that will play in you mobile phone..

9th: "Save or Open" will appear it means its time to download well thats it..

note* downloading for nokia S40 non 3G dont click SAVE,just copy the url then go to youre built-in browser go to a php proxy site then paste it in the url box then go.. IF 3G then you can choose SAVE but be sure that you used opera mini 4.2 by handler

note* downloading for Sony Ericsson 3G or non 3G you can click SAVE

at your proxy server, at port 80?

in your OM4.2 you can use either the 2 of this...just try
