Windows mobile is terrible anyway, though i very much doubt there going to "scrap it" as there are many phones with it. there is a massive application store and shit and many business rely on it so if they do then microsoft will be unreliable by most (all) business who rely on windows mobile. so if they scrap it there losing there reliability to customers because all there phones will be less secure and there will be no updates (do they have updates? I have a android im not sure but i bet using a windows pc you get updates every second so I'm not surprised if its the same with mobile)

I hope they do scrap it, i hope they also scrap windows and zune. But i hope they dont scrap xbox 360 though i love my 360. but 360 is the onlyl good thing they have ever made.

kyn 1 and 2 anyone?
theyll be around for awhile

Kin 1 & 2 are already gone.
Microsoft changed the spec halfway though, delayed it's release and Verizon got p'ed off and refused to do a cut-price deal on data. Kin was aimed at the teen market and without a cheap data plan had no hope of survival.

Lets hope Windows Phone 7 is fairly close to the mark when released in the next few months. I can't see being very keen to go through the whole Xperia X10 (falling behind on updates) debarcle again.

ms mobiles article

Number one business magazine on the planet predicts: in 2 years Microsoft will give up on Windows Mobile/Phone altogether! No other magazine is more renowned than Business Week - when it comes to business coverage... and it saddens us to read that even they predict that future for Microsoft's mobile operating system is bleak:

After 2 years, MS still in this business. BTW, I like Android better.
