try this manually
internet over gprs

press Menu key
select Tools
select Settings
Press options
Select Open
select Connection
press Options
select Open
Select Access points
select Use default settings
Select Connection name
press Options
select Change
enter connection name: Sun Internet
press OK
select Data bearer
press Options
select change
select Data bearer: Packet data
press OK
select Access point name
press options
select change
enter Access point name: minternet
press OK
back.....
the rest leave just leave it.

Who is Sun? How am I supposed to know which country and operator you wanted the settings?

Sun Cellular is one of the network provider here in Philippines(Asia Pacific).

OK. I should have remember that since my visit to the Philippines. But my point was that the thread starter did not inform about the country or operator when he asked the question.
