Hi. I purchased this phone in Australia. Looks fantastic and very fast. I havent had single crash. Wi-Fi is working perfect and GPS (It takes longer to get signal) is working fine. I loved the tracker application. Here are sample picts

forgot to say, there is no front video camera on this phone (it doenst worry me thought)

How does GPS on Elm work ? Does it require GPRS (Internet connection) to locate the phone ?

it does not require internet connection (it can be turned off). Unfortunately, It takes lot longer (20+ min) to get proper GPS signal.

That's not bad for a cold start. At least now I know that GPS can be used without any charge. But how can the navigation be used without maps on the phone ? Can you give me an example ?
