All Desires will be outdated by the time I can grab a new
Handset ntyr!

Htc should do a Wildfire with a Desire screen and Hd video,
It would be a better Desire like phone then and smaller.

Even though this phone has been out for sometime now I played with a live one the other day. I must admit very nice but hate the brown colour I would buy the white version in Carphone

I have a really annoying problem with my desire. If I receive a txt whilst talking on the phone. It plays the txt msg tone through the phones loud speaker, it can be deafening at times! I've searched the menus for a way to stop it but with no luck. Does anyone else desire do the same?

If you cannot turn it off put it in silent mode whilst in a call.

The Desire is getting pretty much outdated now with the Desire HD and Desire Z. But since this is the best deal I can get out of my contract, I am getting this by January next year. This will be my first time to try Android. Hope i won't regret my choice. It's a good thing I still have my trusty good ol' dumb phone, the Elm if the Desire will not be that desirable.

Running a version of a HD ROM and it keeps the phone fresh and not outdated at all....

Its probably the baadnewz HD rom..its the most stable one...I'm using the same rom on my desire...works like a charm...only thing missing is 720p video recording...but that's ok for me
