The Galaxy S does have gorilla glass. The curved screen is only slight but is noticeable from side. It's not a big deal having a curved screen and I don't hold my phones screen right to my cheek when in a call I hold it away to avoid marks with just the speaker touching my ear.

I love it. I don't know why people complain so much about the touchwiz interface. Have tried different launchers but I really like the TWlauncer & its interface and have no prob(almost zero lag) with it.
No memory Card...
16gig is not enough these days. Memory card slot is a must have.
