BARCELONA, SPAIN – Mobile World Congress – February 15, 2011 – HTC Corporation, a global leader in mobile innovation and design, today unveiled three new versions of its most popular and advanced smartphones – HTC Desire S, HTC Wildfire S and HTC Incredible S. The new smartphones continue HTC’s commitment to expanding the market for advanced smartphones while providing distinct choices in design, power and value. Each phone also includes HTC Sense, HTC’s unique customer-focused user experience that puts people at the center by making phones work in a more simple and natural way.

With Qualcomm’s new 1GHz Snapdragon™ MSM8255 processor, the HTC Desire S offers snappy performance and power. HTC Wildfire S

Granted, the same could be said about the Xperia lineup.

I am truly disappointed at the garbage HTC has released this MWC. A tablet running 2.4 and a high end cellphone with Froyo. All I can say is WTF??

Looks like they are resting on their laurels. They had a fantastic year last year with very heavy promtotion of the Desire range which has done extremely well, grabbing both mind and market share.

I think they can afford to sit back for a while.

Isn't is strange, HTC seem to be doing an SE of 2010 and SE are doing an HTC of 2010.

Very disappointed with HTCs line up for 2011, no real innovation or massive improvement. HTC will truly get left behind this year by SE, Motorola and Samsung.

I like the Desire S with it`s aluminum unibody and second generation Snapdragon chipset. Seems to be a nice upgrade over the original Desire

I dont think this is totaly HTC's fault, i remember reading somewhere that Qualcomm's dual-core CPUs have been delayed, that could explaing why both SE and HTC didnt have any dual-core phones or dual-core tablets to unveil as they both use Qualcomm's for SoCs, so they are now stuck with the next best thing, the MSM8255. Wouldn't be suprised if both companies launched some realy powerful smartphones sometime in Q3.
