Yeah and what is also different is that no technology company has ever had someone treated like a celebrity!! Flowers left outside Apple stores and he was the celebrity of the tech world. I mean take Sony for instance i could not even tell you who the co founder of Sony was and even if he is still alive. No other tech company has a cult following like that.

I think it's because these people know how to get attention. They are skilled in getting attention and product coverage is often the best path to success

Steve jobs was most definitely one of a kind and unheard of a company CEO revered and almost idolized in the way he was and I don't think anyone will ever come like that again.

The Official Steve Jobs Autobiography is also due to be released on the 23rd of Oct its the first and only time Steve Jobs agreed to approve this biography as we all know he was a very private man and hated being in the public eye so in this book we will get to hear who he really was I'm really looking forward to reading it and since this will be his official autobiography I wonder if it will be sold in Apple stores?

Steve Jobs: The movie (guardian article)

The studio behind Oscar-nominated Facebook film The Social Network is planning a biopic about Steve Jobs, based on a forthcoming authorised biography of the late co-founder of Apple.

Deadline reports that Sony Pictures is set to acquire rights to the book by former Time Magazine managing editor Walter Isaacson, titled simply Steve Jobs, for a seven-figure sum. It will be the first film to tell the Apple founder's story on the big screen, though a made-for-TV docudrama, Pirates of Silicon Valley, previously immortalised Jobs in 1999 with ER's Noah Wyle playing the role.

Wow only in America eh they want to make films about everything. They are now talking of a film about Amanda Knocks murder trial too I think the Steve Jobs film will be popular no doubt.
