It seems not but only large updates cannot be done via 3G. Smaller ones are ok. Just gotta wait till tomorrow at an internet cafe or somewhere. Thank, god for free WI FI. This is a Nokia update not MS but I don't know if the restriction is cos of MS or Nokia

I think its a MS restriction, I remember doing +50mb FW OTA updates on my 5800XM, and I've read of even larger ones on Nokia N900 and N9.

Free WiFi is hard to come by down here, but Samsung have made a deal down here with AlwaysOn (largest paid WiFi hotspot provider locally) to allow Samsung phones bought in the last 3years free Wifi on all their hotspots around the country for 12months, I'm sure I heard Nokia were doing something similar to.

We get free WI Fi everywhere in UK. In McDonalds,KFC,Starbucks,Libraries, even some buses and trains. We also find WI FI hotspots around the streets of the city etc. Love it!!

Finally got my update and all is well. Definately faster now and more stable with better camera and camera speed too, with the new storage check and also the back speaker which was loud anyway is even louder now. The pinch to zoom issue has also gone. Before if you punched to zoom slowly the screen used to jerk. Good update from Nokia Shame MS couldn't even pull their finger out for the other manufacturers and sort out the OTHER folder issue to which Nokia did. The other folder issue being the Windows cache folder which filled up with files but you couldn't access it. Now we can clear temp files thanks to Nokia. MS need a kick up the ass

Unhappy now Having alot of issues. My phone kept restarting and freezing after the update last night. It happened even when phone was idle so I decided to do a factory reset. What a mistake Firstly since the reset my apps won't download despite network coverage,in settings the storage check has vanished aswell. Phone still keeps restarting since the reset aswell. I have never had such a bad experience before after a Nokia update. Also battery life seems worse too. Frustrated

All sorted now. The missing storage check was cos I had to scan with Bing Vision the bar codes on this page

http://discussions.nokia.com/[....]one-8-App-Updates/td-p/1640082

have also noticed the space bar is larger on keypad with the comma key moved to the left. I think people must have complained as before i was forever hitting the comma key whilst typing with it on the right and the space bar being smaller before

This video was filmed on the 620 with the HAAC mics. Really good audio no distortion at all. The 720p video is alot better in daylight though than this but it ain't bad in low light

Cant believe ive owned my 620 for over a month now. Its gone really quick. Have no regrets trading my sgs2 in for it. Really like how the phone works overall. Loving the WP8 as much as i did android.

Also. Me girlfriend has got me addicted to angry birds in the last 7 days. Never played it before until she downloaded it to my phone.

Good good. I regret getting rid of mine although i was having connection issues with it but with my 520 i don't. Didn't have enough for another 620 but yes i realised i do love the WP OS more than any other. I think my branded 620 was to blame ya know
