Hi two questions...
First, I wanted to know what the volume of the ringtones is on the p800, on the t300 polyphonic really sux, I can hardly hear the thing ring compared to the panasonic gd87 which has really good ringtone volume, so what is it like on the p800 ?

Second, I'm trying to figure out what is the best price for this phone. The Cheapest I have seen is $605 + $80 (shipping to US) = $685 from techshop.nu does anyone know of a cheaper price than this (including shipping/tax) in the US, if so please post a site/link. I've been hearing that people are getting them for close to $600 in the US but can't find that anywhere.
Any help would be much obliged

In a crowded place, lt'd be better if u turn vibrator on because u won't here anything especially if u have p800 in ur pocket. This message was posted from a P800

Well, it would really depend on ambient noise.

I find the P800 polyphonic ringtones pretty ok. You won't hear it in a crowded & noisy place (market place, trading floor, concert)

Another thing is that it depends on the ring you choose! If you have some soft classical MIDI playing, don't complain if yu can't hear it in your pocket in a casual restaurant. And remember, the higher the pitch, the easier it is to hear in a noisy environment.

If you really, really, really want to hear your phone...in all situations (except a rock concert, or shuttle launch) ... use an IMY ringtone. It may not be polyphonic, but it sounds better on the P800 than it does on the T68i...and it's LOUD!!! I mean, almost deafening LOUD.

I suggest you try the phone out in a shop and hear for yourself!

Thanks for all the answers, seems like its not bad like the t300 which you can hardly hear even if you are all alone in a morgue....

Anyone know the answer to my second question concerning the price ?
