Unfortunately, and maybe due to mine being a Canadian version of the 4.2 build, I don't have smileys (no more than 10, and I've attempted to swipe left/right). Really looking forward to making this an Google Edition on the OS ... researching now.

Not surprised Hans, its a great handset, real premium feel to it.

Ive just picked up a red version and am really enjoying it. Best Android handset around at the moment !!

@Lemmy, post some pictures please?!

@Bono, I'd wait for the M8 scheduled for announcement in 3mths before dropping your hard earned spinach ($).

I'd love to have a blue one with 64GB.

To be honest I'm really loving the BlinkFeed feature and I hope HTC continues with this going down into new products. It's kept me well ahead of friends on news social or business and I'm very impressed. It's actually beginning to replace some of the news I goto Bloomberg mobile app for - I've already posted how I hate the Android version.

I'm still trying to get used to it and I'm having ios envy,again. I don't have nor want to spend time playing with my phone to get it to do what I want it to do even for simple things out of the box like deleting multiple pictures as an act, arrgh! (said with much charlie brown fever).

I may bite the bullet and attempt to make mine a Google Edition+BlinkFeed+Beats after a backup of course.

One major thing I hate, the absolute most is Google lack of expanding Gmail domains so I can get the Gmail account I want! This will go to my son in 40 days if I don't fall in love with it.

As requested.

I have just put an Ultimate Shield protector on the rear to stop it getting any scratches etc. I really don't like using a case if a can help it. Especially when a phone looks as good as the HTC One

@ Bonovox, id also be interested in getting a One Max if I could find one at a reasonable enough price, that or a Lumia 1520. Quite fancy having a phablet type device again, not one quite as a big as the Z Ultra though.

Nice red One. I like the blue One as well. I would love the 1520 and having recently played with one in an O2 store it wasn't as big as thought. Makes up from being tall to being slim. Screen was stunning. Two pics of the 1520 I took in the 1520 thread. I don't like the Z Ultra,poor camera too with no flash.

I ordered a silver metal bumper from eBay that arrived today.
Fits perfect and for only €7.50 it included postage, a screen protector and a stylus.

Thank you Santa
