I have tried to connect my T68 with my notebook using IR, but the laptop wouldnt kee a connection with the mobile for more than some seconds. I have installed the software from ericsson but there wa no difference. I use windows 2000 on the computer. Can anybody give me a solution?

I had the same problem, and I had to disable ACPI for the Virtual Com Ports (using win ME). Here is how you do it:

or try to upgrade your drivers
if you have problems using XTND connect (Phone not recognised or interruption with syncronisation).Update the MDAC drivers to version 2.7

Just a thought, are you having trouble with Win2k and IR ( and T68,T39 or R520)? Try the IrComm program from sony ericsson site.You can find it under R380 software.
I don't know if this is helpful information, but please give em some feedback if it is.

I tried all the above, but the problems still occurs here. I even did a new clean installation of Windows XP Professional. Nothing helped.
