Does anyone else have this bug?

If I am watching a video on my mobile, while connected to BT headphones, the screen darkens and an annoying symbol appears, so you can't watch anything because this stupid symbol is in the way. Apparently it appears when Wi-Fi is enabled too.

People are giving the youtube app bad reviews on Play Store because of it and Google seems to be blocking references to it on Google search.

Any advice on how to get rid of it would be very welcome. Thanks.

It's ok from the Galaxy Nexus. I'm currently watching a video over wifi.

It is a connect symbol. Probably because you are connected via BT. On my Note 3 the symbol is visible in the upper right corner and gives me the option to stream you-tube content to my tv.

Yeah. The only way I can get rid of it is to uninstall youtube updates but then youtube automatically updates stuff again. There must be some other way.

for those interested.. google is aware of the problem and is working to fix it.

does it only happen with the youtube app? have you tried using chrome or another browser app (e.g., dolphin) to visit youtube?
