Pity. I hope I don't get reduced battery life when I update my Z3C, although I have read reports of such.

My Z1C on lollipop has become slow when I have a number of apps running, I frequently have to clear those apps now. There is also a drop in battery life, not happy about that but it is still much better than other devices. I use my SW3 a lot so I don't take my phone out much at work. The phone heats up during Scrabble which is new to me, seems like lollipop is quite intensive on the hardware, KK was pretty much perfect for my device.

My Z1 Compact is still on 4.4.4 ... works perfect and do not need to update it.
Battery life on Z1C is better than on my Z3 compact, but it was like that from day one, before the updated to 5.1.1
My Z3C on the first week with 5.1.1 was bad for the battery, but it got better with time and it is like on 5.0.1.
5.1.1 on Z3C works perfect and have no problems at all, fast and smooth.

Does Z1c feels smalish by Z3c? Is Z3c worth of 120 euros over Z1c?

As a product the Z1 Compact feels as a better quality build, the metal frame is very nice, but my Z3 compact is now
1 year and 6 days old, works and looks as new,not a scratch even that it fell face down from 1m+ high,so no complains about the Z3 compact quality.
Battery is better on Z1 compact but I also get 2 days on the other so no problem there too,the screen on the Z3 is bigger and you see it immediately,it also has better colors and brightness.
Both phones are very fast and do their job as you expect.
Which? Difficult... the Z1 compact feels like a BMW M3 from 2013 and the Z3C feels like
a 2014 Toyota Supra turbo X
it is up to you.

Same here . But still a pity about 6.0 . They might change their plans, but I wouldn't count on it...
