Also take into consideration that Samsung has managed to up their battery life on the Galaxy S5 significantly with software enhancements. No doubt they are doing the same with the Note 4 so that there might good battery life even the same sized battery and a QHD screen. They claim that the Note 4 has 7% better battery life than the Note 3 so that is an idea of well it should do even with the new higher resolution and brighter screen.

Based on the below

I don't think that the battery life will be an issue on Note 4

Erica Griffin on You Tube her in depth videos if you ever have watched them. She said that the Quad HD, Snapdragon 805 Korean version of the Galaxy S5 had the same battery life as the original S5 & also performance, because of the 805 chip was not affected at all by the chip having the push all those pixels for the the Quad HD screen. So Note 4 should be even better!!!!! Unlike the LG G3

I hope this rings true with the Note 4.

My girlfriend (esato username cupcake30) has had her S5 now for a month or two. Ive never known an Android phone last so long. She would drain her S3 before it dead with her Facebook, texting, calls and web browsing every day. We were surprised when she had the same usage with her S5, yet managed to only drain the battery to about 80% by the end of the day. She wasn't using battery saving at all, its just the S5 somehow sips battery power compared to her old S3. Shes never needed to charge it through the day once since owning it.

I found the Galaxy S5 battery average at best not much different from other new flagships. But I am a heavy user

I've found the S5 battery very good, the other day I unplugged it at 7.30am and used the Internet and listened to a lot of music, battery was still at 45% at 6.30pm.

Do you really consider displaymate reviews so trustworthy? During last 12 months they have only reviewed Samsung mobile displays, don't you find it strange?
Samsung supplies them with devices they can test, so I'm sorry to say that, but it's rather unlikely that they are totally unbiased in their opinions.
But it works for Samsung to have a good PR.

I believe that the article is backed by actual tests- it is not just an opinion, so I am not too sure how they can be biased ? But if some other party/site will perform similar test and find different results then we could conclude I suppose that displaymate is biased.
