That's incorrect information. The sensor is still 1/3.0" size.

That is very harsh - with a 416 ppi it can be safely argued that no more is needed. And I have a LG G3 too so I can tell you first hand that the extra resolution is barely (if) noticed. On the other hand a 1080 resolution will ensure better battery life - while I think the battery life on G3 is ok it is far from the best
And also what phone is bringing a lot more over predecessor these days: to me Note 4 (which is a great phone btw) doesn't bring a lot more over Note 3 , same with s5 over s4 etc

No, it's not better device because it has more features what make you think that?
Second, OIS proof nothing , just what LG did no improvement.
And Samsung OIS is just the same like LG is use.
