Enjoy Supa_Fly. I have the white version but with I got the black, I love the stealth dark grey, it looks great.

I find the Compact to be ugly, it looks like it has a permanent bumper case on. I think its the proportions as well because the Z5 looks much better because its bigger and slimmer. "Its like having a Porsche Boxster, people will think you only bought it because you can't afford a 911" - Top Gear. Replace Boxster and 911 with Compact and Premium.

Well said. Yet just remember the Boxster evovled into the GTS Cayan Let's just hope Sony can do this with a soon to production sister of the Z5 Compact.

@Supa_Fly

That was the main turn off for me because I traditionally prefer the Compact to the flagship, Z1 and Z3 Compacts were similar to their bigger siblings but they had a unique charm about them while the Z5 Compact just doesn't look right with that body. Either way congrats but personally I would've gone for an X phone because it'll be better supported for software, my X Performance has shoddy battery life when in use but the software is very slick.

Boxster, Cayman and 911 are all unique in their own way now, each with their own character. While the Cayman may not be as powerful as the top end 911, it has different proportions that people like while being very powerful and capable like how the Z3 Compact was to the Z3. The X Compact however was just too weak, the plastic finish is horrible and lack of waterproofing made it much worse than it should've been. Z1 and Z3 Compacts are two of the finest Xperia devices Sony have made and my lime Z1 Compact is still the best device I ever had when I've had the Z3, Z3+, Z5, Z5 Premium.

That's a great lineup of phones!

Z5 Compact has that IP68 rating over teh X Compact - one main reason why I've avoided the X. I honestly think the Z lineup was the best designed Xperia phones Sony has ever made since the (ahem HTC built, Sony designed) Xperia X1 (OG). I just loved the embossed "Xperia" on the Z lineup. Each to their own tastes I guess.

Right now I haven't fully transitioned to the Z5C from iOS just yet.
1. Z5C doesn't support my carrier Freedom Mobile (which originated as Wind Mobile prior to late 2016 purchase from Shaw Communications Inc here in Canada. The bands existed when the Z5C was in production but where unique in this country, and in North America at that time. Grrr.

I've just about fully mirrored the applications I used on iOS to Android, yet I'm just realizing so many things I've grown used to in iOS that I can see myself getting lost without:
Guitar Tab and Tuning/recording applications
^ Althougth Guitar Tuning apps exist in Android, the Guitar Tab apps I'm looking for is to teach a complete novice like me to learn how to play. GarageBand also is a big plus - but I no longer own a Mac so there is no real benefit to me in that regard.
iTunes U & iBooks.
^ Reading books, full fledge novels always for some reason looks and feels better and more enjoyable on iOS devices. I cannot explain it: resolution, contrast levels, the pop of tint etc are ALL better on Android - but maybe its the polish of the apps slightly under par or something I just don't know. I'll re-evaluate after I get my glasses next week. However I'll need to search for books all over again (maybe repurchase).
iTunes U ... such a HUGE wealth of free knowledge that is well organized across universities. I'll be looking for an Android solution, not having much luck.

Watch
^ I had thought Android users were more tech savvy/geeks in a pioneering sense vs iOS users ... yet I've yet to meet someone using an Android Watch full time or at all. Is there not much value in an Android Watch vs iOS Watch??? I'm boggled by this.

By NO means am I a ludditte but I'm frustrated for simple things in Android. Like why is the official Sony Android APK file copied to internal/external memory for the 007 Theme will NOT install directly on the device? I have set install from any source enabled in settings. File Commander just automatically appends .apk.exe to the file extension. Even if I rename to remove .exe it will not install??? Theme sourced from Xperiablog.

PS: LOVE the Mass Effect Andromeda theme ... fully live and inredible!!!
