This is weird...
I have very good battery life on my Z5P. (single chip)
Easily lasts a day and a half with medium/heavy use.

Did you tried to repair the instalation using PC Companion?
Battery drain is almost always related to "bad" firmware image.

Z5 owner here. The actual battery life after the 6.0 update is great, the problem is the stand-by time, the massive drain and removal of stamina mode. I'm patiently waiting for the return of stamina and ultra stamina as they already appeared in the japanese update few weeks ago.

Me neither like it.
Doubt it will as before. It´s not on Sony now, Google has ruined it.

The latest 32.2.A.0.253 is better than the previous .224 in battery under use and in stand-by.
I got, for the first time, 07:38 of SOT with heavy usage. (always on sync, a lot of calls and music and even gaming a lil bit)
Just my old Note 4 and Xperia Z3 did that before.

Have you tried to repair with PC companion?
Some Z5P users at XDA said that this could fix battery drainage and some hiccups of system.
