More importantly you will KNOW you'll get warranty support. BlackBerry CEO has publicly stated that if they don't meet their goal of 5 million devices total in 12mths their are DONE in the Hardware business. Those that just bought the BlackBerry Passport and Passport SE ... will not get full support IF the Priv is highly successful. Mediocre OS support and updates and only corporations and governments will see major updates to BB10.
This is NOT a company which is foresting good consumer/prosumer or corporate client confidence in their hardware. Talk about a way to SINK the SHIP before offering your products.

As it stands this device is showing its UseLESSNESS in the enterprise.
We're on BES12.02 and no specific clear mention on ANY of BlackBerry's documentation that this requires BES10/12 or the latest 12.03 update - delivered AFTER the initial launch. Moreover ONLY MDM references are listed as not working alone, no mention if Silver or Gold licensing is required - ESPECIALLY since many Silver licenses granted free within the last 12months on the honored upgrade to BES10/12 system initiated by BlackBerry is about to expire. VERY SHADY business!
OTHER than have a physical touch-enabled keyboard (yes the PHYSICAL keyboard respond to touch not pressing gestures) ... this is NOT in heavy demand by existing BB10 users or BB fans. the INTEREST is there but the purchasing has yet to match! MANY users that purchased the BlackBerry Passport SE (Silver Edition) released just under 4mths ago seem to feel slighted and WANT BB to release Android OS hardened by BlackBerry for it.
PS: At least the headphones shipping on the AT&T model have improved!! It's been over 6yrs since BB launched quality in the ear headphones!! And the Passport has OIS as well.

Quite possibly the very BEST marketing effort by BlackBerry in the past 5-6yrs!
It's all or nothing the next 12mths in the hardware space for BlackBerry ... 5 million/qtr or BUST !
(Consumers that is ... government and corporate may still be able to purchase but most likely a direct to sale on orders larger than 100/1000 if current sales in 12mths fails targets).
