With new iPhone available from next week I wonder how will this phone sell . Carphone warehouse is still saying only available on the 21 of October which is incredible for a phone announced on the 2nd of August. Samsung should discount the price

It will sure not sell the amount the expected but ones the hype is down the sales will pick up and iPhone would be much of a threat to it.

Any idea how Samsung is going to deal with the Aviation ban? I can see airlines continuing the ban even after all the N7's are replaced..cant blame them since there is no way to confirm if the N7 has been replaced right?

Well the Note 7 was banned on my flight, they made a big deal over it on American Airlines but you can understand why. Recently a 6 year old had another Samsung device explore in hand but the news here are running away with it since they're pro-Apple. Lots of supposed experts commenting on the news, one idiot was saying that its as frightening as ISIS because you never know when it'll explode. Then again, I am in Trump country.

If they continue the ban SAMSUNG will really need to consider re-launching it as Note 8 with some visual tweaks!!

It's seems to be getting worse for Samsung as it looks like other devices seem to be effected with exploding batteries too.

Talk about generalization, seems like isolated incidents not related in anyway to what happened to Note 7

I never said it was related to the Note 7 fiasco but every time a Samsung device goes bang it's now going to make the news regardless of the model and unfortunately for Samsung have their name dragged through the dirt even more.
In regards to your post about it getting a "light ban" on the New York train system I wonder if other transport firm will follow such as the London Underground or even cross county rail service which here in the UK at least have charging points for phones/tablets/laptops.
I hope Samsung recover with the Note 7 as the Note series is the only Samsung I'd ever consider buying.
