@XperiaJunkie, dude could you do me a favor and install google camera in your XZP
https://www.xda-developers.com/google-camera-hdr-ported/

and try out how it works in the XZP. If possible post here, a comparison in image quality performance between the sony stock camera app and pixel camera app. I've been very curious how the apk will perform in the XZP. The result I saw in other phone was very impressive. I know it's a selfish and cumbersome request. I can totally understand if you don't want to do it but I'm hoping you would do that.

Finally got my August update a few days ago.. too bad it's September now!

I'm really looking forward to the OREO update. Hope there are lots of good things in store along with improvements. Anybody have any idea when that's supposed to roll out? I would assume not until XZ1 has had some time in the limelight..

XZ1 and XZ1 Compact are the first devices to run Android Oreo. According to a Swedish site they will launch in October. So late October for us?

Yea. that makes sense. late october or maybe even november/december. though i would hope for late october since XZP is a different class of a phone. I'm looking forward to playing with the 3D creator. i can think of quite a few things i'd like to 3D scan...

XZ1 comes with Android 8.0 and will get another two major updates - the P and Q versions of Android. What's the probability that the XZ Premuim would also get the P and Q versions as it came with Nougat and not Oreo and is basically the big brother of the XZ1?

99.9% what? I'm pretty sure that the premuim would not be updated to the Q version. I know Sony...
