For some odd reason, android authority's camera review does not seem to agree with Gsmarena's review.

I've heard XZs balck and XZ black are different, but no sure how.

Does anyone have side-by-side comparison photo?

That stabilisation is industry leading. Loved the natural colours and how quickly it re-focuses from the building to the tree branch. Well done Sony, well done. #WhoNeedsOIS

Sony definitely wins with video stabilization and has won for a couple years now. It is top notch for sure. OIS would still be a welcome edition for night time STILL photography though, where steadyshot isn't available.

Sony also wins with color and dynamic range (in my opinion) but the audio on the S8 is better. It's louder and clear. Sony's audio makes the user seem a lot further away.

Not sure if adjusting the mic settings would make of a difference or whether a SW update could improve the audio but yeah the S8 does win in audio quality for sure.

Actually NOT.
It's just louder.
Sony has actually wider spectrum, when S8 is a bit lacking in low register.
I compared both adjusting the loudness making it even sounding....

Am I the only one that bought this phone? Really wasn't impressed with the XZ Premium, I hate the mirror look and size. I had the X Performance, but with the latest Android update it started lagging and battery life was bad, buttery smooth on this model.
