At first I scoffed at the 64GB storage entry price. HXEF compression for pictures and videos needs to be seen just how much storage is saved! Should've been 128GB but with a $300US difference most of the IPX sales will be for 256GB storage.
It's not for everyone - I'll wait until next years refinement.
BUT Apple spending advertising costs on animoji POOP in a commercial? FRAKIN' STUPID!
At least the deisgn is refreshing, even with similarities to the Essential phone. Cannot imagine just how much money Essential LOST with late production and shipping woes!!

I agree Supa_fly , I think Apple should have released a 128 GB version for 1000 USD (1000gbp here in UK 😱). They probably figured that not many would buy 256 version if they did

the iPhone X hasn't shipped anywhere yet and pre-orders still weeks out. How could you mis-read the title of the article you posted?
But this time, Apple has a more interesting phone coming out in November - the iPhone X - casting a shadow over the iPhone 8 and iPhone 8 Plus - are they still worth it with a design dating back to 2014? Let's see what the reviewers say.

If I'm not mistaken the iPhone X has not even gone into production yet, it is just the Beta units that exist.
I read somewhere early last weekend that they may end up being delayed.

LOL! 50million at +$1000 per unit!? That is madness! Apple are going to making a killing off the X. I get the feeling that even with delays and supply constraints this phone is what will make Apple damn near untouchable profitability wise.
Samsung, LG, Huawei and Google are not doing enough to take advantage of the delays, they all have better devices out but they just aren't doing enough to leverage on the people waiting for the X.

Yeah, Apple will bring in the mega bucks on this one. If you remember old Top Gear they had the cool wall and this phone is sub zero for sure and that explains their sales projection. All it will take is a rap video with this in it and you have lift off.
