Exactly why HTC is losing costumers.
Since Z3 the usb can be used for audio, but jack has always been there.

So, should I get XZ1 black or blue?

My hopes for 2018 are gone now....

While I agree that no audio jack would be a bad move, the last time I used my phone for music was, probably never or maybe once. I use my walkman for music exclusively but I am most likely in the minority that do this and most (>90%) use their phone for music, so removing the jack would def alienate the customer base. That being said, AptX and AptX HD offer much better quality for streaming audio, same for LDAC.

I tend to use smaller in ear headphones and any wireless version wouldn't have long enough battery life so I would have to go with WI-1000x, but even these only last up to 10 hours and while that is long, my airplane journeys last a bit longer, more like 18 hours in total. Granted they can be used wired which is nice.

My A15 walkman supports LDAC but I do not have any wireless headphones that support it, my older MDR-10BT do not have LDAC codec, only aptx.

Hoping it to have flat screen for easy screen protector application, as well as sunlight legibility above 4000. I cannot see the fps?

I've got a pair of MDR-1000X and MDR-1A's and with LDAC and sound quality preferred selected the MDR-1000X are in a different league altogether IMO and offer sound quality that I've never been able to replicate with any other wireless headphones.

I hope sony doesn't remove the headphone jack.It would be one of the most stupid decisions ever.
