still, anything you want to ask? I probably not going to answer anything
Answer about already announced phone Xperia 1.
1) why so many Samsung sensors?
2) will it have image stacking for HDR+ like output?
3) is it true that it'll run at 1644p all the time?
1. Manufacturer of Xperia 1 display?
2. Get Xperia 10 or 10 Plus and test HDR photo
3. I dont really care

@Ppl I know phones come from China and Thailand. I have know idea about Taiwan. I just know it os the #2 market for Sony.
Except that supposed imx666, no mobile sensor pass 48MP.
Unless they consider for example 5 x 13MP as 65MP.

"samsung is providing the display so it's fine if they are also providing 3/4 camera sensors" argument is not valid. Sony is not a display maker, it's like Samsung using LG display for S10. Sony is king in mobile image sensors, why should they need others for their top tier phone? It makes me think they are still holding back.
HDR of 10 is not so great according to gsmarena. It's softer and takes long.
So tell me Tony who got fired for xz3's 79 points on dxo?
Hawk, idk where I heard about Taiwan. I may be wrong. Also it's normal for companies to offer products cheaper where they sell more.

It is about how the HDR works on 10. You might need some slow motion to see how it behave.
For dxomark, you still got faith on them?

The 21:9 FHD has more vertical pixels.
But the resolutions above they remove horizontally. Is it cpu limitation?
How is the steadyshot of 1? Until XZ , it was the best EIS but since 2017 other brands have done better.

Effective from April, Sony Mobile will be a part of Sony Electronics.
It will be like Samsung (but Samsung Electronics division consists of Mobile, Semiconductors, Consumer Electronics, Display, and Device Solutions) but I'm not sure about Sony's decision on that one. It seems like Semiconductors division is still separated from Electronics.
I hope the integration means they really wanted to change, not just to restructure things then give up.

For 4k, I think it is a technology limitation. 2160p 21:9 is over 800ppi. There were talks about 4k Oled not being ready so they worked around that by exploiting the definition of "4K"
For x2 I think it's only for cost cutting. If it was 1440p it'd be 590ppi which is higher than any S10. X2 seems to be more of a mainstream device than the 1.

Are you sure X1 is chip like from tv and not just software?
Because bionz has never been hardware.
Sumaho wrote days ago that someone on comment session of XB claimed to have prototype of 1.
Person said battery life is similar to s10+.
I wish they could make X Reality/super vivid work when stanima is on.

I heart it from Weibo.
Even if it is just a software, it still require calculation. Just no different.
