Does anyone know where I can get a software update for my T68 in the United States? I'm currently stuck on the old R1B and would like to update to R2A. Any help would be much appreciated! Thanks!!!

Hey there....I am in Miami and I just got my T68 upgraded. Need to send it to Ericssonin Wisconsin. Call them first to get the right info---1-800-374-2776.
I should take around 4 days to be done. Be patient with the service. They are a PAIN. Bad customer treatment! But no other choice.
Good Luck

Is there no way to flash it yourself? I just purchased the T68 yesterday and I really don't want to send it away. Did it arrive back without any scratches and the same condition as you sent it? What firmware did they upgrade to (R2C)?
Thanks.

Thanks for the reply. Which software version did they update it to? Also did they charge you anything?

Got mine on Ebay for US$500. I see them here in major cities for sale on the Gray market for US$375 w/ service agreement now.
Two US GSM carriers have been rumored to begin carrying it soon: VoiceStream and AT&T.

All you need is an "unlocked" GSM phone. You could either join Cingular, ATT, or Voicestream depending on your region. I am stuck in California in which only Cingular is available. But I think ATT will be offering their GSM service soon here.
