Is it impossible to type in a number on the T68 and simply save it to your phone book without going through the menus?

Also if i get a missed call off a number that isn't in my phone book i can't find a way of saving it without either memorising it or writing it down on a piece of paper.

Please reply with any possible solutions or anyone who is just as annoyed as me at this lack of thought.

There are 2 ways: Enable the \"save after\" prompt in phone book>options, or add a new contact and go to number-field. Go to the menu (<) and choose \"unsaved ..\" . Pick the number you want to save. This post was posted from a T68

Yeh u still have 2 go through the menu but if u type the number in on the standby screen and then go to fonebook and add contact go into a place where u can put a number in. Press options key and it gives u a list of numbers u have called but not saved yet click it and then save it
