I`ve had some Nokia`s but they worked alright. Maybe I was one of the lucky 30%...?

A short summary in english (even shorter than the original article) would be that there is a huge problem with the LCD on some of the Nokia models. They just stop working after a couple of weeks/months. Some people claims that this problem exists on as much as 70% of the Nokia phones. Especially 8210, 3310 and 3330. According to Nokia this is not a very big problem and far from the 70% that some people claimed..

I'll be honest with you all, I must of had 10 Nokia phones, all different models, and I did not have one problem with any of them! found thenm to be really reliable. I'm sure if some people just are anti-Nokia and even if they brought out a new mobile that could do everything you ever wanted it to do, some would say it was shit and that Sony Ericsson are better. The T68 is my first non-Nokia mobile phone and so far it has caused so many more problems! And after all this shit with the release of MMS, I'm sure to make my T68 my last Sony Ericsson too!!!!!!

I'm sure that Nokia makes good phones.. If they didn't make good phones people wouldn't buy them.. But for me there are something missing.. That little extra feeling i get when i hold an Ericsson phone.. I think i'm just an Ericsson person..

No idea, I had Nokia phones before (Not long ago), and I only had 1 phone that just crashed and never worked again (which I returned, probably due to some factory defect, likely to happen to any phone).

I really do not like a lot of the Nokia phones (especially the new models), due to some lacking of major needed features (Bluetooth, duh), but I'm sure they'll make up for that eventually.

I'm sure the T68 will still be a good contender up until next year...

Well, to me this reads so that mobil.se, itavisen.no, and so on have had misleading reports. Maybe they (mobil et al) should post something to correct their statements...

They relatively often have similar reports for any manufacturer once a problem pops up, and rare are the occasions when they actually make some correction later on, after the manufacturer has clarified the exact situation and measures to be taken.

Anyway, this is often the case for the press in general, on whatever subject. To me good journalism is not only to make objective news reports, but also to honestly alter them in case misleading statements have been made.

Nevermind this. I never had any display problems The only case it happened was my own fault, after having dropped my phone numerous times...
