Hi @ all.
I am buying a new mobile phone but I don't know what to buy. I am living in the Uk and I have a limit of £160 at the moment I am using a T65 which I brought from Virgin and had it unlocked, but I still have a fortnifght to decide if I want to keep it or not. I have seen the R520m on the SE website and it looks tempting because it has loadsa stuff the T65 doesn't have like bluetooth, but before I spend the £120 and return my T65 I would like to know your opinions on which is best!

Secondly does anyone know where the closest service centre for software upgrades is? I live in Bristol but when I search on the SE site it comes up with loads of places but after ringing a lot of them they said they didn't have the needed equipment!

Cheers in advance.

Hi, i'm not sure how much a T39 would cost in your area, but that is something you could consider. Or, just buy the BT adaptor, and plug it into your T65.

the T65 is a pretty good phone, but it really is up to you. Do you really need bluetooth?

Can't you sell the T65 and add it to the 120J and then buy a T68i on contract and then get that unlocked????

Nope. If I get a T68 on contract I will have to pay something bloody stupid like £20 a month for the line rental, I am a 17 year old student and hence don't have the doh for phone that will end up costing me over £300!

And in reply to the earlier question I don't really know if i need bluetooth but surely its better than not having it right???

Hey,

I'm a student, just doing my A levels, and it actually works out cheaper for me to be on contract!!!

I pay about £40 a month at moment. but when i was on pay go, it was costing me about £80 a month!!!

So I get a better phone than u can have on pay go, and its cheaper in the long run. but guess that depends on how much you use your phone.

I have an R520m, and am very satisfied with it, especially since I upgraded it to R3B. K.A. This post was posted from a R520

Well, I think it’s pretty much ends up to what you really want with the phone?

Do you want it for just looks and send SMS and talk? I’d just go with Nokia instead of SE, since there phones are much more stylish in that area and far cheaper.

Do you want to use Bluetooth/IR/GPRS? Go with the T39m, great phone, good looking as well.

However, if you got the money, I’d recommend the T68i. All those options put all together in one small phone!

Or buy the T68 and wait for the T68i sofware to come. That's what I've done.
