Hi folks,

I was trying that number followed by "#" on a T39m to call from SIM tip, and I'd forgotten exactly how to do it. I was putting a # before the number. Somehow typed in #9# (then Yes) and the phone status was "Please wait .... " followed by "Accessing network." . At this point I got worried and I hit cancel. This is on Voicestream GSM in the US in case it makes a difference.

Anyone have any idea what #9# does?

I tried the same thing on a T68 with VoiceStream I first got "Please wait" then I heard a beep and got a message saying "Command Error".

this doesn't really answer your question but the key for calling from the SIM is followed by the sharp (#) key.

I think the phone read from the first digits, that's why we get command error message if we put #9# This post was posted from a T39
