I have found this very suspicious that Orange have recently lauched their 3G Service, and almost straight away they have removed the Z1010 from their phone's list.

An extremely suspicious person would say that this could have something to do with a rumour that there may be a release of a V800 on other networks, (Z800?) And that they could be getting that.

I may think that it may just be because it isn't selling very well, but then again, it has only been out for a few weeks, so to review sales and withdraw a phone that quickly is pretty strange....

What do you think?

Strange indeed!
Time will tell if they have dropped it, are replacing it or perhaps are just out of stock

A couple of months back Orange head honcho said that the 3g phones got so hot in use that you could fry an egg on it! Maybe the z1010 isn't working well on the orange network, or there's a glitch in the customisation sw. Even more unlikely is that they've run out of orange sticky badges for the front and are having to wait for the next batch to arrive before they can sell.

They definitely aren't out of stock, because when that happens it just says, Out of Stock underneath the phone where the price would usually be.

Maybe so about the overheating, but its more than likely that is doesn't work with Orange very well, and they need to muck up the FW a bit more!

Anyway, I've asked them about it out of interest, I'll tell you if I get a reply!

I doubt the Z1010 has been withdrawn because Orange are getting the V800. As I understood it Vodafone had exclusive rights to the V800 for a few months at least, oit seems too soon for another network to be allowed to sell it.
